What's New
The New UNISON Prepaid Plus Mastercard® card has been arranged for you by UNISON Prepaid Plus and is issued by Clydesdale Bank PLC. With your new UNISON Prepaid Plus Card you can:
- Earn between 3% to 6% cashback when you spend using your card online and in-store1. Your cashback will be paid automatically to your Prepaid Card each time you top-up.
- Enjoy an Improved customer login - making your card easy to manage. You can setup a direct debit on your New Card for free and get regular top-ups.
- Order an additional card for a member of your household

There is a new monthly management fee of £1.95. Other fees and charges may vary. For a

To apply you must be a UNISON member and you must have a valid email address.
As part of the application process your personal details will be checked. If we are not able to validate your
details we will send you a restricted card. Restricted cards will allow you to
spend up to £1,600 per year of which £600 can be withdrawn from a cash machine and up to
£600 can be spent on a single purchase. You can always upgrade later if you provide valid
proof of address, there is a £5 fee to do this. To find out more about restricted cards see the

The card will be sent to you within 14 days of your application. As soon as you receive your
new card please give us a call so we can activate it for you and give you your new PIN. Then
you can start using you card immediately and start getting your cashback.
Earn between 3% to 6% cashback
The NEW UNISON Prepaid Plus MasterCard® lets you earn up to 6% cashback when you spend
at your favourite stores.
You can use your card as often as you want, online or in-store and earn unlimited
cashback!
Your Cashback is paid to your prepaid account each time you top-up.
Improved customer login
The new Customer Login makes your card easy to manage - you can view all your purchases, see how much you have saved and top-up. You can top-up your card via Direct Debit which is still free of charge. Plus if you register your mobile phone you can receive your balance instantly via text message (costs 25p per message). And much more.
Additional Card
You can have an additional card with the new UNISON Prepaid Plus card. Both cards share the same balance so there is no need to transfer funds onto the additional card. The same discounts and cashbacks are also available on the additional card so you can earn even more cashback. You can order an additional card when you login to your prepaid account.
Monthly management fee
The £1.95 monthly management fee covers the administration of the new card and the new in-store cashback discounts on the card. The cashback you earn using your card with the retail partners, is automatically paid to your card the next time you load. With the NEW UNISON Prepaid Plus MasterCard® you also have all the online discounts and vouchers available through the UNISON Benefits and Discounts website (provided by VAC Media Limited).
